With Avianca you will receive special measures if your flight is cancelled. For example, if your flight is canceled, you can receive a refund for your ticket in hand. But if you prefer to make the trip, you still have a chance. 

To make the canceled trip, you can undergo reaccommodation, which is when you are placed on another flight, or you can reschedule it for another date in the next 12 months. Of course, all this without additional fees. 

Did Azul cancel your ticket? No problem, they can help you with that. First you must contact the airline and show your dissatisfaction. Then see if you can reschedule. It can be rescheduled for later or another day.
