There are some countries in the Middle East that require a visa requested in advance from the consulate for the entry of Brazilian tourists. Among them we have Afghanistan, Iran and Kuwait, for example. Meanwhile, others only require payment of a fee and an authorization form completed upon arrival at the airport. Some of them are Lebanon, Jordan and Syria. Other countries still do not request any type of visa or authorization from Brazilians.

If you are going to visit Israel and the Palestinian Territory as a whole, ask immigration to stamp your entry on a separate piece of paper. This is necessary if you want to visit other countries in the Middle East. Some of them do not recognize Israel as a state, which means that if you have a Palestinian Territories stamp, other Muslim countries may block you from entering. So avoid setbacks.

Regardless of whether you need a visa or authorization to enter Middle Eastern countries, they will all require a valid passport upon entry. In addition, they also request proof of hotel reservations and return flights. It is worth remembering that your passport must be valid for 6 months from the date of arrival at your destination. So keep an eye on the expiration date and, if necessary, travel with 2 passports, the old and the new.

Following an agreement between governments, Brazilian tourists can travel freely to the United Arab Emirates without the need for a visa. Furthermore, other countries such as Israel and Türkiye do not request any authorization. For other countries in the region, a specific visa requested in advance from the consulate may be required, or the completion of an authorization form and payment of an entry fee may be required.
